The Mountain Home High School soccer teams had a good night as they were able to sweep a pair of district matches at Beebe.
The Bomber boys improved on their undefeated season by shutting out the Badgers 2-0. Daniel Goiecoechea scored both goals for Mountain Home, and assists were provided Koby Weber, Paul Athicomnanta and Ewan Platt. The Bombers improve to 8-0 on the year and 5-0 in the 6A/5A-2.
The evening began with Mountain Home’s girls blanking Beebe 5-0. Sabra Wickersham led the Lady Bombers with two goals, and Amber Bill, Grace Beckham and Emma Jones each added a goal.
The junior varsity boys’ match ended in a scoreless tie. Hunter Beshears recorded two saves for Mountain Home.
Mountain Home will travel to Searcy on Tuesday.
