Shari Tyman

Three people have been arrested and charged with felony drug charges following the Mountain Home Police Department receiving information from a reliable concerned citizen.

According to the probable cause affidavits, police officers learned 31-year-old Haley Franks, also known as Haley Sullivan, and 41-year-old Andrew Cunningham of El Dorado allegedly traveled to Branson Tuesday and transported an unknown amount of methamphetamine to Mountain Home. An address for Franks was not provided.

While officers were in the process of obtaining a search warrant Wednesday, Franks left the East First Street residence of 43-year-old Shari Tyman. Franks’ vehicle was stopped on U.S. Highway 62B, where she was arrested.

Upon searching the vehicle, officers located a crystalline substance and a green vegetable substance separately bagged in a glass jar.

Officers served the search warrant at the First Street residence, locating Tyman in the kitchen area and Cunningham in the living room area in a makeshift bedroom made of mattresses.

A search of the residence revealed numerous items of drug paraphernalia. A back bedroom identified by Tyman as belonging to her daughters, ages 14 and 15, revealed a box containing seven marijuana pipes, marijuana, a grinder and other paraphernalia.

The three were each charged with felony counts of possession of a controlled substance, methamphetamine; and possession of drug paraphernalia for use of ingestion of methamphetamine, as well as two misdemeanor drug offenses and being habitual criminal offenders. Tyman was also charged with two counts of misdemeanor contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Tyman has been convicted of at least four previous felony violations and has served prison time in Missouri and Tennessee, as well as being a parolee in Arkansas.

Franks has at least four previously felony convictions involving narcotics violations, breaking or entering, and other criminal violations. Bonds for Tyman and Franks were each set at $8,500, according to the detention center website.

Cunningham has at least five previous felony convictions involving narcotics violations, thefts and other criminal violations. His bond was set at $7,770, according to the detention center website.

All are set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court in June.
