The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Mountain Home Project Office will be performing road maintenance for the next four to six weeks at several boat launch ramps and parking areas on Lake Norfork.

Road maintenance will be performed at the Cranfield Park entry-area launch ramp, Red Bank launch ramp, Henderson launch ramp, Gamaliel launch ramp and swimming area, and Panther Bay launch ramps and swimming area.

Work will typically occur at one location at a time and be phased and scheduled to minimize disruptions. However, some full closures will be necessary.

Those wanting to access these areas are urged to use caution and watch for working personnel, road equipment, and haul trucks. Obey signage and stay clear of the barricaded areas where crews are working.

Corps officials apologize for the inconvenience and say they will work quickly to restore the areas to full use.

For further information on the status of other recreation areas on Norfork or Bull Shoals lakes log on to http://www.swl.usace.army.mil Corps or call the Mountain Home Project Office at 870-425-2700, weekdays from 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m.
