Anyone traveling to the campground at Bull Shoals-White River State Park within the past nine months may have noticed some areas of construction. According to park superintendent Bill Lindsey, 48 sites on the D loop of the campground have been undergoing a renovation project since November.
Lindsey says the reconstruction is necessary to accommodate tourists traveling in RVs and bigger camping trailers.

In addition, a new bath house will be constructed. Lindsey says the total cost of the project is just over $1.1 million, and they are getting closer to having it completed.

Lindsey goes on to say one of the park’s major goals is to make the experience enjoyable for tourists of all ages.
