2-vehicle accident sends 2 to BRMC, DWI citation for one driver

Both drivers were transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center following a two-vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon just before 2:00, with one receiving four citations, including one for DWI.According to the report from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office released Friday, the accident occurred on Cannie Baker Road, when a northbound vehicle driven by 33-year-old Kristina Caudill of Mountain Home crossed the centerline and struck a truck driven by 42-year-old Erin Davis of Mountain Home.According to a witness statement from another motorist following the Caudill vehicle, she observed the small car swerving from side-to-side prior to the accident and immediately called 911. She continued to follow the vehicle down Cannie Baker, until she observed it swerve and hit Davis’ oncoming truck.Caudill and Davis were transported by ambulance to BRMC, with both vehicles towed from the scene.In addition to DWI, Caudill was cited for having a suspended driver’s license, driving left of center and no seatbelt.

The report notes a wet road surface at the time of the accident, due to rain.
