Speaking to the New York Post during a New York Fashion Week event, frontman Anthony Kiedis revealed that the band will begin work on a new album in two weeks.
The most recent Chili Peppers project is 2016’s The Getaway, which features the singles “Dark Necessities” and “Go Robot.”
In other Chili happenings, bassist Flea is releasing his memoir, Acid for the Children, on November 27.
