As the 91st-annual National FFA Convention and Expo gets ready to begin in Indianapolis, a Mountain Home School District alumnus is there seeking a national office. Class of 2016 graduate Macie Kelly traveled to Indiana over the weekend to begin the selection process as one of 50 candidates for any national office available.

Kelly most recently served as the Arkansas FFA reporter for 2016-2017. She is majoring in agriculture education at the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.

Josh Baker is an agri instructor and one of the FFA sponsors at Mountain Home High School Career Academies. He says he and a group of students are preparing for the trip to Indianapolis for the convention, and he is looking forward to seeing how Kelly fares in the selection process.
