Arkansas State University-Mountain Home’s Pipeline to Advanced Manufacturing program is offering beginning industrial sewing classes to prepare individuals for manufacturing jobs.The training will take place Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday evenings from 3:30 until 5:30 beginning Tuesday and continuing through Nov. 15th.
Materials are provided, and there is no charge for the course. Students will complete a sewing project during the class.Classes will be taught by Rebecca Porterfield and Helen Hicks at ASUMH’s Industrial Training Center at Flippin School, near the gym.
