There was plenty of high school basketball in the area Tuesday night.
In boy’s action:
-Viola improved to 5-1 with a 64-59 win over Norfork. The Panthers drop to 4-2.
-Cotter lost to Bergman 81-46. The Warriors fall to 0-4.
-Flippin fell to 3-3 with a 71-59 loss to Jasper. The Pirates are now 3-2.
-Calico Rock picked up a 62-47 win over Greers Ferry Westside and is now 5-0.
-Mammoth Spring lost to Bay 52-44. Jacob Golden scored 13 points for the Bears and Alex Mero added 11 as Mammoth Spring falls to 0-3. They will host Buffalo Island Central Friday for homecoming.
-Valley Springs defeated Kirby 74-52 to improve to 4-0.
-Western Grove was a 79-37 winner over Lead Hill.
-Omaha beat Kingston 53-49.
In girl’s games:
-Norfork defeated Viola 54-43 to move their record to 4-1. The Lady Longhorns fall to 5-1.
-Cotter lost to Bergman 73-37. The Lady Warriors fall to 1-3 on the season.
-Flippin fell to Jasper 49-27. The Lady Bobcats are 0-2.
-Calico Rock lost to Greers Ferry Westside 61-28. The Lady Pirates fall to 0-5.
-Valley Springs squeaks by Kirby 51-49 to improve to 2-2.
-Lead Hill knocked off Western Grove 40-38.
