Yellville-Summit to face Marshall in Battle of the Buffalo

The regular season of high school football will come to an end Friday in Arkansas, and Yellville-Summit will spend the evening on the road. The Battle of the Buffalo will be renewed as the Panthers go up against Marshall.
Yellville-Summit is 2-6 on the season and 1-3 in the 3A-2. The Panthers picked up their first conference win last week by defeating Mountain View on Senior Night. Marshall is 0-8 and 0-4. The Bobcats fell to Clinton a week ago.
Kickoff at Bobcat Stadium is scheduled for 7 p.m.
Elsewhere in the 3A-2, Mountain View hosts Clinton, and Harding Academy will step outside of conference play by entertaining Hampton.

Also on the local Arkansas schedule, Harrison travels to Farmington.
There are two game pairing teams ranked in the Arkansas Sports Media top ten. Second-ranked Conway makes the trip to number three Bryant, and number five Bentonville is home against sixth-ranked Bentonville West.

The postseason continues in Missouri with the semifinal round of district play.
West Plains continues with home field advantage as the top seed in the Class 4, District 1 Playoffs. The Zizzers are set to host Sikeston.
Ava will once again have home field advantage for the semifinals, of the Class 2, District 3 Playoffs. The top-seeded Bears will entertain Mountain View-Liberty.
Thayer will be one of the visiting teams in the semifinals of the Class 1, District 2 Playoffs. The Bobcats will head to top-seeded Pierce City.
All games kick off at 7:00.
