Two people were transported by ambulance to Baxter Regional Medical Center early Sunday morning following a one-vehicle crash on Old Arcana Road.
According to a Baxter County Sheriff’s Office pending report, the accident occurred in the 400 block of Old Arcana Road or Baxter County Road 54 when 18-year-old Hunter Schad of Mountain Home lost control of the vehicle he was driving, slid into a ditch and struck a culvert.
The report notes both Hunter and his passenger, 20-year-old Rebecca Zurcher of Mountain Home, were transported by ambulance to BRMC for treatment of what was described as incapacitating injuries. Their vehicle was towed from the scene of the 1:09 a.m. accident.
The report notes it was raining at the time of the accident.
