Lady Bombers win thrilling benefit game

The Mountain Home Lady Bomber basketball team played their benefit game Monday night, their final tune up before the regular season starts, and pulled out a wild victory. Mountain Home overcame a 15 point defecit in the fourth quarter to defeat Mountain View 56-55. The Lady Yellowjackets, one of the top teams in the state in class 3A, held a 50-35 lead early in the final period before the Lady Bombers closed the game with a 21-5 run for the win.

Emma Martin led the Mountain Home attack with 17 points while Anna Grace Foreman scored 16. For Mountain View, Kaylee Shipman poured in 33 points.

The Lady Bombers open the regular season next Tuesday night at Riverview.
