The first winter weather of the season will affect northern Arkansas and southern Missouri Monday and into Monday evening. A winter weather advisory is in effect for Baxter, Marion, Fulton, Searcy, Boone and Newton Counties in North Central Arkansas until 6:00 PM and for all of southern Missouri until 3:00 AM Tuesday.

Chris Bounano of the National Weather Service in North Little Rock says we can expect to see precipitation by midday.
