Throughout October, Carters Jewel Chest donated a portion of all Hearts on Fire jewelry sales to Baxter Regional Medical Center in support of its four community health education and support houses. Carter’s also raffled a Hearts on Fire necklace to community members who stopped by the store to donate to their favorite community house.
The effort raised $3,133 for the BRMC community houses, which provide resources and support at little to no cost to patients and their families for a variety of needs.
BRMC’s four community houses include the Schliemann Center for Womens Health Education, Reppell Diabetes Learning Center, Mruk Family Education Center on Aging, and Peitz Cancer Support House.
