Razorbacks host Montana State Wednesday night

FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas basketball will welcome Montana State for the Razorbacks’ third game of the Hardwood Showcase on Wednesday (Nov. 21). Tip-off at Bud Walton Arena is set for 7 pm.

Arkansas will have a quick turnaround to play the fourth and final game of the Hardwood Showcase as the Razorbacks will host UT Arlington on Friday (Nov. 23) at 7 pm.

-This will the first meeting between Arkansas and Montana. Arkansas is 6-2 all time versus current members of the Big Sky Conference, Montana State’s league.
-Montana State opened the Hardwood Showcase with an 8-35 loss at Indiana on Nov. 9.
-Daniel Gafford was named SEC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week thanks to his career-high 27 points and 12 rebounds in leading Arkansas to a 73-72 win over Indiana.
-Arkansas received one vote in this week’s AP top 25 poll after its win over Indiana (who is “27th” in the AP poll) and a close overtime loss to Texas (who is 33rd). A total of 10 Razorback opponents are either ranked or receiving votes in the AP poll.
-Arkansas ranks 26th in the NCAA in blocked shots (6.0 per game) and 30th in turnovers forced (18.67 per game).
