Credit: Jen RosensteinLast month, KISS announced details of the first leg of their End of the Road farewell tour, which takes place during the first few months of 2019. Now the band has confirmed plans for a second series of North American dates. The new leg, which features 25 shows, kicks off August 6 in Sunrise, Florida, and is plotted out through a September 16 concert in Oakland, California.
As previously reported, the End of the Road trek begins January 31 in Vancouver, Canada, and is scheduled through an April 13 show in Birmingham, Alabama. The initial leg features 44 dates, some of which sold out instantly.
Tickets for the newly announced concerts go on sale to the general public Monday, December 3, at 10 a.m. local time via LiveNation.com. KISS Meet & Greet Experiences will be available starting Tuesday, November 27, at 10 a.m. local time at KissOnline.com, where KISS Army fan club members will be able to buy pre-sale tickets beginning Wednesday, November 28, at 9 a.m. local time.
Between the two confirmed North American legs, KISS’ End of the Road trek will visit Europe in May, June and July. KISS singer/guitarist Paul Stanley told ABC Radio last month that the tour is expected to take about three years to complete, “more or less.”
“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years,” the band says in a joint statement. “This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t.”
