Trash rate increase on MH City Council agenda Thursday

The Mountain Home City Council will consider a customer rate increase in its contract with Methvin Sanitation when it meets Thursday evening at 6:00. Methvin is requesting rates be adjusted equivalent to the same percentage as the Consumer Price Index.The council will also consider an ordinance amending its wage scale in accordance with the voter approved minimum wage initiative in the general election.

In addition, a variance will be addressed regarding a fuel tank containment at Air Evac’s new location on Hospital Drive.

The agenda also includes an ordinance waiving competitive bidding and authorizing the purchase of a motor grader and approval of the 2018-2020 water and wastewater and general and street audit contracts.

The meeting will be held in the council chambers of the Municipal Building.
