The Cotter School Board meeting in a special session Wednesday evening accepted the resignation of Transportation Coordinator Jim Bruzzichesi, who had also served as a bus driver.
The board then moved to hire Josh Daily to fill the vacant position.
The action regarding the resignation and the hiring was the lone item of business on the agenda for the special session.
