Machado CicalaCher appears to be the first celebrity to publicly announce that she will stop using Google and Facebook — but her fans are happy that she’ll be staying on Twitter.

The ageless diva tweeted, “WONT USE GOOGLE, GETTING RID OF FACEBOOK ACCOUNT I DIDNT KNOW I HAD.WOULD GET RID OF TWITTER IF IT WASN’T 4 [LOVE] OF YOU.”

Explaining why, she continued, “THESE COMPANIES HAVE NO ALLEGIANCE TO, OR [LOVE] OF ANYTHING BUT MONEY. THEY MIGHT AS WELL BE CONSPIRING WITH RUSSIA TO DESTROY OUR DEMOCRACY. WHERES [LOVE] OF [THE U.S.A.]?”

Cher’s response came in reaction to two new reports by the Senate showing that Russia used social media to spread propaganda in an attempt to influence the 2016 presidential election in Donald Trump‘s favor, and continued to do so after he took office. Cher is taking issue with the companies’ alleged lack of oversight in the matter.

One fan responded to Cher’s pledge to remain on Twitter by tweeting, “The day Cher deletes twitter is the day I delete my existence.”  To which Cher replied, “I won’t leave any of you.”
