Busy agenda for Cotter City Council’s December session

The Cotter City Council’s regular December session is scheduled for Thursday evening at 6:00.

Items on the agenda include a resolution to adopt the 2019 operating budget, a continuing partnership with the Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District, a year-end report from Stetson Painter of Congressman Rick Crawford’s office, an update from Linda Reed of the American Legion on “Rosie the Riveter Project,” an ordinance to discontinue the Winter FX Program, a request from John Bell to purchase two jump seats from an old scrapped water truck and a request from Mayor Peggy Hammack to purchase a small discarded grill top with burners. There will also be information on vacancies on the planning and zoning commission and the sewer commission board, and Mayor-elect McGeorge “Mac” Caradine will present the code of meetings and conduct of activities in January.

The meeting will be held in Cotter City Hall.
