More than 500 NAEC customers without power north of MH

More than 500 customers of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative north of Mountain Home are without power.

The cooperative’s website indicates the impacted area is north of U.S. Highway 62 Business and east of State Highway 5 north.

The cooperative’s Facebook page notes a tree has broken a pole near Oak Knoll Drive and Columbia Avenue. Crews are working to isolate the tap and get power restored. Those on the affected tap should have power restored by 6:00 p.m.
