A 37-year-old woman, who took money from behind the counter of a Midway convenience store while employees stepped away, pled guilty to charges against her stemming from the thefts.
Nicole Ashley Guinn was given five years probation during a session of Baxter County Circuit Court Thursday. She was charged with two counts of commercial burglary, two counts of breaking or entering and two counts of theft of property.
Guinn was alleged to have taken funds from the business on two occasions in August. Employees were able to identify Guinn from surveillance videos. She lived in a nearby trailer park. The video also showed Guinn’s vehicle and license number.
In addition to probation, Guinn was also ordered to pay $100 in restitution.
