A Gainesville man was injured in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday morning in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 38-year-old Aaron Broderick was transported by helicopter from the scene four miles south of Gainesville to Cox Medical Center South in Springfield with what were described as moderate injuries.
Broderick was a passenger in a pickup truck driven by an unidentified male. The truck was traveling southbound on Missouri Highway 5 when it ran off the road, overturned and came to rest in the roadway. A hospital spokesperson says Broderick remains listed as a patient.
The truck was totaled in the 1:30 a.m. accident.
