The Northwest Arkansas Economic Development District has scheduled two meetings for Thursday morning at the Durand Center on the North Arkansas College-Center Campus, located at 303 North Main Street in Harrison.
The board of directors will begin its session at 11:00, and the chief elected officials will meet 45 minutes later.
The district provides local governments and citizens a regional forum to identify issues and opportunities and provides leadership in planning and implementing programs to improve the quality of life in nine counties–Baxter, Benton, Boone, Carroll, Madison, Marion, Newton, Searcy and Washington.
