What has become a big part of many area residents’ Saturday mornings starts again this week as the Baxter County Farmer’s Market opens on the square in downtown Mountain Home. The farmer’s market gives area residents a chance to purchase fresh produce and other locally made products.

The farmer’s market is open from April through November on Saturday and Wednesday mornings, but Baxter County Judge Mickey Pendergrass, whose office oversees the farmer’s market, says early and late in the season the market is just one day per week.
