A Mountain Home man is facing multiple charges after being located at a storage unit he wasn’t renting. According to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, 47-year-old Jason Sisney has been in the Baxter County Detention Center since Friday evening with bond set at $5,000.

A deputy was conducting a building patrol check at storage apartments on County Road 28 and observed a male subject searching through paperwork in a storage unit. The subject, identified as Sisney, admitted he wasn’t the renter and didn’t have a storage unit.

The deputy conducted a search of Sisney and located a prescription pill bottle containing Lorazepam and ibuprofen and a fake gold bracelet in his coat pocket. The officer also allegedly located Social Security cards belonging to men in Mountain Home and Fayetteville in Sisney’s wallet. He said he received the documents from a friend, but could not provide his name.

Sisney was booked on felony counts of breaking or entering, criminal trespass and probation violation and misdemeanor counts of theft by receiving and possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance.
