Power has been restored to North Arkansas Electric Cooperative customers in the Lakeview area. The area had been without electricity following an accident Friday morning near the Bull Shoals Dam.
According to NAEC’s Facebook, a state trooper reported a vehicle hit and broke a power pole by the dam on Arkansas Highway 178, and power lines were down on the road. The pole replacement was completed between 2:30 and 4 Friday afternoon.
It’s unknown if injuries were caused by the accident.
