A traffic accident near Bull Shoals Dam has led to another power outage. According to North Arkansas Electric Cooperative, 281 of its members in the Lakeview area are currently without power.
A state trooper is reporting a vehicle hit and broke a power pole by the dam on Arkansas Highway 178, and lines are on the road. NAEC crews are asking motorists to stay clear of the area until the lines are removed. The estimated restoration time is 1 Friday afternoon.
NAEC is reporting it’s unknown if any injuries were caused by the accident.
