MC man injured, cited at Ozark County accident scene

A Marion County man had minor injuries following a one-vehicle accident Saturday evening in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 51-year-old Richard Skutt of Flippin was treated at the scene a half mile west of the Tecumseh bridge.

Skutt was traveling on U.S. Highway 160 when his SUV ran off the roadway in a curve. The vehicle was totaled after it overturned and struck a tree.

Following the 9:35 p.m. accident, Skutt was cited for driving while intoxicated, no valid operator’s license, careless and imprudent driving, failure to maintain a lane and no proof of insurance.
