A police chase beginning in Mountain Home Tuesday afternoon resulted in an accident on County Road 69. According to a Baxter County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson, a suspect accused of stealing a vehicle was taken into custody at the scene near the old county quarry.
A Mountain Home Police officer pursued the alleged stolen vehicle. The chase went down Arkansas Highway 5 South to County Road 69, and a two-vehicle accident with entrapment resulted near the quarry. The extent of the injuries is unknown.
