The ninth-annual ELKS Veterans Golf Tournament is scheduled for Sunday at Twin Lakes Golf Club with a rain date set for the following Sunday, June 30. The outing begins at noon with registration followed by a 1 shotgun start.
The cost for the two-person scramble is $45 per person, and the tournament is limited to 36 teams. Golf cart rentals will cost an extra $20. All players are guaranteed a golf club, 18 holes of golf and a barbecue dinner at ELKS Lodge #1714.
There will be two chances at hole-in-one prizes. The prize is $20,000 cash at Hole 14 and a Carnival cruise at Hole 17. Other prizes will be for the longest putt, the longest drive, the closest to the pin and the closest to the squiggly line. Prizes will also be available on all par-three holes.
Hole sponsorship is also available for $100. All proceeds will benefit ELKS’ veterans programs.
Preregistrations will be accepted at Twin Lakes Golf Club and the Back Forty.
