Big Creek Golf and Country Club held its U.S. Open Day on Saturday. Competitors played a round and later drew “partners.” The partners were the professionals playing in the U.S. Open. The final scores were better-ball scores with their partners’ Sunday score.

Scott Copeland and Aaron Wise won the tiebreaker, Tyler Wallace and Xander Schauffele finished tied for third, with Nick Coleman and Jason Day, Andy Wescoat and Shane Lowry ending fifth, Todd Dunnaway and Patrick Cantlay sixth, and D.J. Butterfield and John Rahm taking seventh place.
Four teams shot a five-under-par 66 to top the A Flight. Chris Webb and Tiger Woods won the tiebreaker, Joey Sample and Martin Kaymer finished second, Mike Jones and Patrick Reed ended third, and Jack Garstka and Francesco Molinari took fourth place.
Wes Wood and Dustin Johnson captured the B Flight with a three-under-par 68. Mick Spaulding and Tommy Fleetwood took the tiebreaker for second place over Lang Zimmerman and Phil Mickelson, after both teams ended one stroke back.
