Baseball makes up the local Sunday schedule as area teams will continue action in state tournaments sanctioned by the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA).
Mountain Home’s 12-year-old Class AA squad will begin bracket play in the Arkansas State Championships at Conway. The Fury meets the Kekambas at 10 a.m.
The Mountain Home 11-year-olds will take part in the quarterfinals of the Arkansas Class AA State Championships at Alma. The Bombers will face the Sluggers Baseball Club at noon.
Mountain Home’s 8-year-olds will play their first bracket game in the Arkansas Class AA Coaches Pitch State Championships Sunday morning at Maumelle. The Cardinals take on the Klutch at 10:30.
The Mountain Home Baseball Academy 7-year-olds will also have the morning session as they start bracket play in the Arkansas Class A Coaches Pitch State Championships at Cabot. Mountain Home will get underway at 9 against the J.D. Cardinals.
