
A Taney County man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday morning in Ozark County. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 24-year-old Caleb Christeson of Protem was pronounced dead at the scene eight miles north of Theodosia.
Christeson was traveling on Missouri Highway 95 when his pickup truck ran off the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. The vehicle was totaled in the 4:05 a.m. accident.
Christeson’s death is the 11th fatality reported by Troop G this year compared to 18 in the same time period in 2018.
