In addition, Tyler posted a video montage from the event on his Instagram page.  It includes most of the performance, as well as footage of him at the side of the stage before he joined McCartney onstage.

In the behind-the-scenes segment, Tyler is seen singing along while McCartney is performing “Hey Jude,” and then comments to the camera, “You ever been in a situation where something just makes your day? Better than that, Paul McCartney.”

McCartney, meanwhile, posted a photo of himself and Tyler singing together at the show on his social media sites, along with the hashtag #Maccasmith.

Steven responded to the photo by posting a note in the comment section that reads, “NEXT TIME MY PLACE… SIR!”

Tyler’s message is clearly referring to Aerosmith’s current “Deuces Are Wild” Las Vegas residency at the Park MGM resort, which runs through July 9.

As RollingStone.com points out, Tyler’s performance of “Helter Skelter” with McCartney wasn’t the first time Steven has sung the song. Aerosmith has played the 1968 rock tune many times live over the years and also recorded a studio version in the 1970s, which you can hear on the 1991 compilation Pandora’s Box.
