Phone service in the Twin Lakes Area has been restored. According to a Centurylink spokesperson, the fiber optic cable that was cut outside the area has been repaired, and long-distance and toll-free service should no longer be disrupted.
A spokesperson at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office says its phone lines are again functioning normally. The Marion County E-911 office’s phone issues have also been resolved.
