DESHLER, Neb. (AP) – A pilot has survived the crash of his crop-dusting plane in southern Nebraska.
The plane went down around 1:50 p.m. Wednesday in a cornfield near Deshler. Thayer County Sheriff David Lee says pilot Nick Bagley, who is from Arkansas, was spraying a field when it clipped a power line.
The accident cut power to Deshler and a nearby manufacturing plant, but it was restored later Wednesday afternoon.
Federal investigators have been notified about the crash.
