Monday is the deadline to schedule a hearing appointment before the Baxter County Board of Equalization. The board will be in session through Oct. 1.The Baxter County Clerk’s Office advises by state mandate the deadline for scheduling appointments to meet with the Equalization Board is at 4:30 Monday afternoon.
Those wishing to appeal their assessed property values should contact the Baxter County Clerk’s Office at 870-425-3475 prior to Monday’s deadline to schedule a hearing before the equalization board.
The clerk’s office advises the equalization board does not handle property taxes, but has the authority to addressed appraised and assessed property values.
