
The Mountain Home High School tennis teams did not lose a match at home Tuesday against West Memphis, although three were suspended and will be finished when the teams play in West Memphis later this season.
The Bombers went 5-0 on the day. Banks Gregory won his singles match while Clayton Jones was leading 6-1 when his match was suspended. In doubles play, the team of Sam Arp and Jake McGehee won both of their matches. The team of Alex Arp and Dodge Harris won one match but the second match had just started when play was stopped.
On the girl’s side, Mountain Home went 4-0. In singles play, Meagan Beck won her match. Cambelle Lance is trailing 8-7 in her match when it is resumed. In doubles play, Sarah Godfrey and Macie Heidi won two matches and the team of Micaela McLean and Mandelyn Smeltzer won their match.
In J.V. action, the teams of Karoline Yeakley and Christiana Sebree along with Sebree and Jasmine Greetham won their matches.
