A Yellville man is accused of burglarizing Yellville-Summit School District buildings Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. According to Marion County Sheriff Clinton Evans, 18-year-old Robert Trey Dickerson was booked in the Marion County Law Enforcement Center Thursday and is being held on a $25,000 bond.

A Yellville-Summit resource officer was notified Wednesday of several buildings broken into and burglarized. Marion County Sheriff’s investigators joined school officials to review security camera footage, and one officer reportedly recognized Dickerson seen inside the high school hallway on the surveillance video. Another individual fitting the description as one of Dickerson’s friends was also reportedly located in the video. The second male was identified as a juvenile and taken into custody without incident.

Dickerson was interviewed at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office and denied involvement in the burglary. His probation officer was notified, and a search was conducted at his residence. Stolen property belonging to the Yellville-Summit School District and its teachers and students was reportedly located at the residence.

Dickerson faces felony counts of commercial burglary, theft and criminal mischief. He is also being charged as a habitual offender.
