An Ozark County man was seriosly injured in a one-vehicle accident Wednesday morning. Thirty-two-year-old Matthew Gerike of Thornfield was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol report indicates Gerike’s vehicle ran off the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned. He was not wearing a seatbelt.
The accident occurred on Route F in Wright County, 5 miles north of Mansfield at 6 Wednesday morning.
