During the concert, Del Rey brought the folk legend out on stage, and the pair duetted on Baez’s Diamonds and Rust,” a 1975 song Joan wrote about her relationship with Bob Dylan.  It was famously covered by Judas Priest.

Baez then sang a cover of Dylan’s “Don’t Think Twice, It’s All Right” while Del Rey watched from the side of the stage.

The Berkeley show also featured an appearance by Leonard Cohen‘s son Adam, who joined Del Rey for a rendition of his father’s song “Chelsea Hotel No. 2.”

Del Rey is currently on tour in support of her new album Norman F***ing Rockwell, which features a cover of Sublime‘s “Doin’ Time.” The singer recently told the Los Angeles Times that she’d like to do an entire album of cover songs.

Baez has no upcoming concerts on her schedule. Her latest studio album, Whistle Down the Wind, was released in 2018.
