Four Baxter County officials are hosting the Baxter Regional Medical Center’s mobile mammography unit’s visit to the courthouse square Friday morning from 9 until noon.
Clerk Canda Reese, Treasurer Jenay Mize, Collector Teresa Smith and Assessor Jayme Nicholson are serving as hosts for the unit’s visit.
They remind residents the American Cancer Society recommends women over the age of 40 get a mammogram every year. Studies have shown finding cancer early saves lives and increases treatment options.
