Power has been restored following an outage to over 2,000 customers of North Arkansas Electric Cooperative.
According to an NAEC spokesperson, a squirrel got on the steel structure at the Mallard Point substation, causing a fault and taking out several feeders. Crews have removed the burned conductor.
