For the second time in three years, Arkansas State’s postseason trip will be to Montgomery, Alabama. The Red Wolves will meet Florida International Dec. 21 in the Camellia Bowl.
Arkansas State wide receiver Omar Bayless ended the regular season as the nation’s leading receiver. Bayless set Sun Belt records for receiving yards and touchdowns. A-State ended the regular season with 34-30 upset loss to South Alabama. This is the Red Wolves’ ninth straight season in the postseason.
FIU made three straight bowls for the first time. The Golden Panthers got their second-ever win over a Power Five team with an upset of Miami, once led by FIU coach Butch Davis. This is FIU’s first appearance in the Camellia Bowl and fifth bowl appearance in school history.
