Arvest branch in Bull Shoals to close

Arvest Bank officials have confirmed the branch location in Bull Shoals is scheduled to shutter its doors with the close of business May 1.While the bank located at 1517 Central Boulevard in Bull Shoals is closing, its ATM will remain open, providing services including deposits, withdrawals and the ability for customers to check their balances.

Bank officials say in addition to utilizing the ATM, they want to remind customers Arvest offers a full suite of mobile and online banking tools allowing them to conduct their financial business anywhere.

Arvest customers can deposit checks, make business deposits, check account history and transfer funds, among other capabilities, via the bank’s mobile and online channels – the Arvest Go app and/or arvest.com.

In addition, Arvest has a branch in nearby Flippin, as well as branches in Yellville and Mountain Home.

Arvest officials say the decision to close the Bull Shoals location comes after continually researching and evaluating the effectiveness of their branches within the North Central Arkansas market.

Bank officials are working with the employees of the Bull Shoals site to secure roles at other branches or with other Arvest business units when possible.
