With the continuation of the COVID-19 pandemic, several churches in the Twin Lakes Area and across the United States have called off services. Some churches are able to bring their attendees a regular service courtesy of a livestream on the internet.

First United Methodist Church in Mountain Home will be livestreaming its 11 a.m. service this Sunday. The service can also be heard on KTLO-FM 97.9 and streaming live at ktlo.com.

Other livestreams will be provided by Christ Community Church (C3), East Side Baptist Church, Fellowship Cumberland Presbyterian Church, First Baptist Church of Mountain Home, Harmony Free Will Baptist Church and St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. In addition, Jordan First Baptist Church is posting its Sunday sermons to Facebook.

First Baptist Church of Yellville will hold its regular Sunday service this week at 11 a.m. Sunday’s service can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com.

A pair of area churches will be holding services outdoors.  Twin Lakes Baptist Church in Mountain Home will host a drive-in service in its parking lot, and Beckham Church in Everton will have an outdoor service.  Both are scheduled for 10:30.

Several other churches have cancelled all services and activities due to coronavirus. A complete list of cancellations brought to you by Baxter Regional Medical Center can be found at ktlo.com/cancellations.

The Salvation Army in Mountain Home will have its normal worship program on Sunday morning. Bryan Brinlee’s sermon can be heard around 8:15 on KTLO-FM and 8:20 on Classic Hits 101.7.

Sunday has been declared “A Special Day of Prayer” in Arkansas. Governor Asa Hutchinson signed the proclamation on Friday.
