The coronavirus pandemic has led to the cancellation of one of the Twin Lakes Area’s biggest events. The Red, White and Blue Festival, scheduled for June 26 and 27, will not be held this year in Mountain Home.
Event co-coordinator Joel Bratton says it would be a challenge to secure the funding for this year’s festival, and crowd size restrictions were also a factor in the decision. He adds the committee wants to thank the sponsors who have assisted in the annual event for over 20 years, and they are looking forward to next year’s festival being “better than ever.”
