Early voting is underway in the Twin Lakes Area, and those looking to take part in Baxter County should not have any trouble casting their ballots. Baxter County and Circuit Clerk Canda Reese says she would like to see more of the county’s residents at the voting locations.

Reese says the total vote count at First United Methodist Church after Thursday was 3,107. Baxter County has also had 3,000 voters at Twin Lakes Plaza and 1,253 at the Baxter County Election Commission headquarters.
Early voting hours are 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Monday through Friday and 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Saturday.
Marion County has had 1,220 of its citizens vote early through Thursday. Early voting is being held at the Marion County Clerk’s Office in the courthouse, and a second location will open up Monday through Oct. 30 at Bull Shoals City Hall at 706 C.S. Woods Boulevard. The Lazy Acres Fire House, located at 254 Main Street in Protem, Missouri, will serve as an early voting location for one day only on Nov. 2 from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
Fulton County’s total count was 1,096 as of Thursday. Residents can vote early at the Fulton County Fairgrounds at 124 Arena Lane in Salem. Another polling location will open Oct. 30 from 8 to 6 and Oct. 31 from 10 to 4 at the old Mammoth Spring Parts Store at 960 Main Street.
Izard County had 1,091 as of Thursday. Early voting is being held at Ozarka College in Melbourne. Additional locations will be open Oct. 30 through Nov. 2 at the Horseshoe Bend Music Theatre and Oct. 31 and Nov. 2 at Brand New Church in Calico Rock.
Early voting ends at 5 p.m. on Nov. 2.
