Two new staff members have joined the Baxter Regional Health System Hometown Clinic at Calico Rock. Dr. Bethany Knight and advanced practice registered nurse Kristie Branscum will join Dr. Donald Wright and advanced practice registered nurse Kari Lindsey beginning Dec. 7.
Dr. Knight obtained her undergraduate degree at the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, and she later completed her medical degree at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS)in Little Rock. Dr. Knight completed her internal medical internship at North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem and later returned to UAMS for her internal medical residency.
Branscum earned her bachelor’s and advanced practice degrees at Arkansas State University in Jonesboro. She previously worked as a registered nurse for Baxter Regional Medical Center and is returning to the system with advanced training and education as a family nurse practitioner.
